PUBLIC  OUTREACH

Through the years, Vicky has been involved in many programs that help raise money for alumni scholarships - Bare Walls and Open Canvas, participated in the University of Rockford's School of Medicine's "Unforgettable Art" fundraiser for the Alzheimer's foundation, and have received  NAP grants (Neighborhood Assistant Programs), to implement an art therapy program helping heal students at UCAN Academy, a therapeutic day school working with children who have endured trauma.  Using her gifts to help raise awareness of debilitating illnesses, soliciting scholarships for gifted young artists, and integrating art to heal inner-city children, have been some of the most fulfilling moments of her career.
