2008

Root Series was inspired by working on the Public Art Project - Cool Globes: Hot Ideas for a Cooler Planet. Spending summers in Wisconsin and having an organic relationship with nature, Vicky Tesmer observed crops and their environment shared an energetic intimacy. She recognized farmlands as "the seed of life" integrating conservation free of pesticides and fertilizers resulted in the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
