TAKING TEA IN ISTANBUL

2016

This series of paintings was showcased in a one person exhibition at the Cliff Dwellers, 200 S. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL  along with a lecture & dinner on the career of Vicky Tesmer. They were inspired by the beautiful light & rich colors of Turkey. The patterns, architecture & vitality of Turkish culture brought her to Rumi: "I was not born for one corner, the whole world is my native land."
